(More customer reviews)I have bought a number of guide and other books on Costa Rica and this is the one I will actually take along when traveling through the country. Current and excellent summary of information on sights, lodging, restaurants in the area.
Best part for me were the excellent maps of each region of the country. Most books have one small map of the entire country and then I try with a auto map to find a section covering the area around Lake Arenal or Rincon de La Vieja and with this book I do not have to do this. Each section has an excellent map at a scale that is appropriate. If you are getting just one book to use for planning your travels around Costa Rica this is the one to buy.
